Lindsey started her career in the restaurant industry as a manager at Ada St., a small wine bar in Chicago. While there, she developed her passion for food photography and eventually worked as the Director of Marketing for the parent company, DMK Restaurants. After several years, she decided to ditch the office hours and pursue a years-long dream of becoming a sommelier. She started at The Alinea Group’s Next restaurant, where she was introduced to some of the most iconic wines in the world while also receiving an immersive education in both food/wine pairing and fine dining.
She began in the same position everyone does--as a Runner--and left a year later as a Captain and Cellar Manager in order to take a job as a sommelier at Chicago’s West Loop steakhouse Swift & Sons. While there, she worked directly with Wine Director Marcello Cancelli and completely revamped the restaurant’s classic Champagne Cart. In September of 2019, Lindsey joined the sommelier team at RPM, a division of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, and later opened RPM Seafood, where she is now the Wine Director.
