Thomas Brenner: Bordeaux Wine Ambassador

Thomas Brenner is an educator and a trusted voice in the world of Bordeaux wines, known for making wine approachable and engaging for both novices and connoisseurs. As a Bordeaux ambassador and sommelier, he conducts insightful seminars that ignite passion for wine exploration. Thomas, a certified sommelier and wine judge, has been featured in Food & Wine magazine and has led award-winning wine programs at various Michelin-starred restaurants. 

Known as the “Tinder of wine matchmaking” for his ability to connect people with the perfect wines, Thomas also has deep ties to some of Bordeaux’s top châteaux. Through his unique and personal approach, Thomas helps wine enthusiasts discover Bordeaux in new, exciting ways, delivering immersive experiences that go beyond the glass.

Daisy Penzo: Ambassador for Italian Wines and Founder of Tuscany Wines Import

Daisy Penzo, founder and CEO of Tuscany Wines Import, brings her deep passion for Italian wines and culture to SCA as an ambassador. Born in Rome and raised in Florida, Daisy has spent most of her career dedicated to promoting fine Italian wines. Her father, an importer of Italian wines, served as her greatest inspiration, and after his untimely passing, Daisy took the helm, carrying his legacy forward by founding Tuscany Wines Import in 2020. Her company has excelled in connecting small, family-owned vineyards from Italy to U.S. consumers.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and several prestigious wine certifications under her belt, including WSET Level 3, Daisy is a seasoned expert in Italian wine. Today, her company excels in curating and importing unique, terroir-driven wines from Italy, while providing marketing strategies that sell these products to U.S. wholesale partners. Daisy is committed to bridging the gap between small Italian vineyards and American tables, ensuring that each wine tells a rich, authentic story.
