Isabella Morano

Sommelier at Absinthe Brasserie & Bar

Isabella is a San Francisco based sommelier who found her way to Northern California by way of Wisconsin. She is the graduate of Global Politics from the University of San Francisco. There she was able to study abroad, delving deep into the complexities food and wine in Italy. Her longtime love of Italian culture cultivated a life long passion for wine.

Over her decade-long career in the wine industry, she’s worked with legend David Lynch at his St Vincent tavern, Arlequin Wine Merchant, and Absinthe Brasserie & Bar. She is well versed in the industry’s production component with stages at Foradori, Domaine Mosse, Bedrock Wine co., and Martha Stoumen. She is currently working on her own project while helping her friends with their exciting new pop up called Habibi Bar in Russian Hill.
