The world has reopened! The businesses have resumed their operations after a long pause. Still, there are restrictions and everything is moving at a slow pace…except the wine industry. Even during the lockdown, wine consumers were looking for ways to stock up their favorite wines which resulted in the drastic increase in sales and the way we sell. While many drinks platforms such as Get Drinks Delivered, Drizzly, and others are supporting small wineries and wine business owners to reach thousands of their customers online, you, too, can grow your deliveries and curbside sales with these 10 amazing red wines.
If you are a restaurant/bar owner looking to drive your wine delivery sales with food, do check these amazing wines as these wineries understand the restaurant business and here to support you.
The 2020 Sommeliers Choice Awards gold medal winner 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is the first red in the list of “10 Red Wines to Stock and Grow Your Deliveries”. This wonderful red from Cache Creek Vineyards & Winery has fascinating and intense aromas of blackberry and currant which mingles heavenly with spicy notes of forest floor. On the palate, the flavors are as intense as the nose, showing a bright burst of spice-laced notes of boysenberry, black cherry, cedar, vanillin oak, creamy mocha, and a hint of anise. The finish is beautifully balanced with supple tannins and fine-grained oak. 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with cracked pepper and sea salt pork chops served with a side of garlic mashed potatoes or rolled pork loin stuffed with spinach, dried cherries, and pecans.
