Sauvignon Blanc is lean and crisp, with lots of mineral tones and vibrant, crisp citrus - Ruby red grapefruit flavors from the Lake County fruit combine with the exotic citrus tones of Mandarin and blood oranges from the Mendocino fruit. The result: a complex yet elegant wine. The marriage of flavors is like a tropical fruit tart with good acidity and fleshy citrus flavors all over a layer of "creme patissiere." Sip this wine by itself or match it with a myriad of lighter fare.
