Wine drinking is easy, isn't it? But selecting wine? That seems quite confusing. But don’t worry this one is on us! We have narrowed down 20 wines that were selected by world-class sommeliers, wine directors, master sommeliers, master of wine, and wine buyers that you can pour anytime and we are sure you will love it.

And now the fun part of selecting wine!

1. Nola Grace Dry Rose 2017

Country: United States

Starting with Rose that has fresh flavors and aromas of strawberry, melon and rose petals, and the crisp, dry style is ideal for most spring and summer dishes.  

2. Ktima Brintziki Augoustiatis 2015

Producer: Ktima Brintziki

Country: Greece

Intense deep vivid red color with Orange sheen- characteristic of ageing. A wine with a rich fruity bouquet, consisting of blackberry, cherry, vanilla, which evolve Overtime. Its taste is full and soft, with a long aftertaste. Augoustiatis, because of its velvety tannic structure, can be enjoyed immediately on release but will get more complex with four to six additional years of aging in the bottle.

3. Cave Geisse Brut Nature 2016

Producer: Wine for the World

Country: Brazil 

The acidity of Cave Geisse is pleasant and reveals good persistence. It has delicate notes of white fruits followed by apricots, apple, yeast and roasted scents. Notes of honey and candied fruit can also be felt.

4. Grenache - Hoskins Ranch 2016

Producer: The Meeker Vineyard

Country: United States 

Grenache is quickly becoming one of our best selling wines. It’s the perfect before-dinner wine, with fruit, spice and herbal notes balancing beautifully. This 2014 comes from our friend Harold Hoskins and his Dry Creek Valley vineyard--and you can taste some classic DCV notes in this wine: hints of creekside brambles, earth, and lavender. This wine has a gorgeous dark ruby color, hints of floral oak, and wonderful fruity complexity

5. Salton Intenso Marselan 2017

Country: Brazil 

On with the list of our 20 best wines to serve on Thanksgiving we have a vivacious ruby coloration wine with purple highlights that features aromas of fresh fruits such as plum, blueberry, raspberry and cherry, along with delicate violet flowery notes. Tasty, with elegant tannins, balanced acidity and fruity aftertaste.

6. Paco & Lola Vintage 2012

Producer: Bodega Paco & Lola

Country: Spain 

The Paco & Lola vintage has straw yellow color with an intense greenish hue and slight gold. Medium intensity, with aromas of aromatic herbs (laurel, rosemary), spicy (cumin) and infusion, (tea, chamomile). With memories of frosty fruit and an elegant background of lees. In the mouth, it is fresh, with good acidity and a sweet tooth. Oily, fatty, with hints of ripe fruit and toasted tones. Mineral and saline aftertaste.

7. Frey Vineyards 2017

Country: United States 

Light and lively, this Chardonnay is layered with tropical aromatics of lemongrass and cherimoya. Flavors of cold Gala apple and a touch of vanilla from French oak lend a refreshing structure.  

8. Tenshen White 2016

Country: United States 

Aromas of tangerine and ripe melon lead to flavors of peach and apricot. Balanced acidity and juicy honeysuckle accent the finish with a hint of hazelnut.

Moving ahead with the list on 20 best wines to serve on Thanksgiving is a lightly oaked, tannin rich, full-bodied Petite Pearl proprietary blend. This Nebraska Red displays aromas of ripe blackberries, roasted herbs, cedar, violets, blackcurrants, spice. It’s a smooth, supple dry red wine with a deep ruby color.

11. Norgard Farms 2017

Producer: T. Berkley Wines

Country: United States 

This wine comes exclusively from Tim Norgard’s old vine Chenin Blanc block at Sterling Ranch just outside Ukiah. The grapes were picked, crushed, and left to macerate on skins overnight, before being pressed to barrel in a mix of neutral French and stainless steel barrels. Spending just over 11 months on lees, this wine has vibrant acidity and excellent structure, with notes of lanolin, lemon curd, and jasmine.

12. Bonobo Riesling 2018

This Riesling is a fine example of Old Mission Peninsula terroir. The 2018 Riesling is well balanced, light-bodied, and has just enough lushness on the palate to show how perfectly balanced this wine is. Enjoy its delicate aromas of orange blossom, tangerine, Sicilian limes, and white flowers with a sandy, mineral after tone. There’s not a better wine on the menu to twist open while adventuring on West Bay!

13. Muscadine Paulk Vineyards

The rich concentrated stewed fruit character of this sweet red muscadine wine has a more rounded palate feature. Robust and deep, just like the big man it’s named for, Lott reminds us of the fun and easy-going person everyone enjoys being around!

14. Rapsani Reserve 2015

Producer: Tsantali

Country: Greece

Ruby red color. Aromas of juicy blackberries and plums with elegant notes of spices, leather and licorice. The palate is round and rich with balanced acidity and lingering tannins. Medium to long finish.

15. Safriel House 2017

Country: South Africa 

A lovely, elegant red hailing from coastal vineyards mostly fermented with its natural (not commercial) yeast and aged in French oak. It has ripe, red fruit and an easy-going light to medium texture which is all too easy to drink. Best with a good pizza or pasta but also great for a party. 

16. Cline Cellars: Amphora White 2016

A beautifully balanced wine with layers of complexity and intrigue. It has the spectrum of stone and tropical fruits layered on top of a creamy refreshing body.

17. Grenache Blanc 2017

A full-body white wine with good acidity and flavors of citrus, anise and green apples.

18. Serenade in Blanc 2017

Country: United States

Sauvignon Blanc is lean and crisp, with lots of mineral tones and vibrant, crisp citrus - Ruby red grapefruit flavors from the Lake County fruit combine with the exotic citrus tones of Mandarin and blood oranges from the Mendocino fruit. The result: a complex yet elegant wine. The marriage of flavors is like a tropical fruit tart with good acidity and fleshy citrus flavors all over a layer of "creme patissiere." Sip this wine by itself or match it with a myriad of lighter fare.

The silky texture of our 2015 Viognier has rich flavors of stone fruit and honey with hints of preserved lemon. We blend in a small amount of Grenache Blanc for the acidity and structure this varietal provides.
