Rachael Lowe is Portfolio Development Manager at AMI Group, where she delivers wine sourcing and travel solutions for airlines, cruise lines and rail operators. Her role combines global wine knowledge, commercial buying expertise and an understanding of the specialised requirements of travel hospitality.

An award-winning sommelier, Rachael earned the Advanced Sommelier qualification from the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2009, achieving the highest score and receiving the prestigious Rudd Scholarship. Her industry honours include Jean Banchet Top Sommelier, StarChefs Rising Star Sommelier and Food & Wine Sommelier of the Year.

Her career includes senior beverage leadership roles with Levy Restaurants, as well as positions at Bouchon in Yountville, Café Gray, Mandarin Oriental New York, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, Michelin-starred Naha, Brindille and Spiaggia.

With experience across wine sourcing, portfolio development, fine dining, national hospitality groups and travel channels, Rachael brings a valuable commercial perspective to the Sommeliers Choice Awards judging panel. Her expertise enables her to assess wines for quality, value, food compatibility, market relevance and genuine on-premise potential.
