In 2021, TJ and Hadley Douglas founded Progressive Wine Company (PWC), a new wine brand dedicated to creating access to the wine industry for BIPOC consumers, as well as others that have
previously felt like the wine industry was intimidating and not approachable. Their Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, and Pinot Noir have been embraced by a younger generation of drinkers who see themselves reflected in the brand. PWC is a certified minority-owned business and one dollar of every bottles sold goes back to support The Urban Grape Wine Studies Award for Students of Color.
