SEPPI™ Craft Sparkling Wines is the debut project from vintner Kelsey Phelps Finch, granddaughter of Napa Valley wine pioneer Joseph Phelps. 

Kelsey created SEPPI in 2017 with the intention of carrying forward her grandfather’s legacy. She focuses on making wines that uphold the Phelps family's highest quality standards while expressing her modern take on California winemaking and business leadership. 

The hallmark of SEPPI Wines is California terroir. SEPPI is one of a few small-scale boutique wineries in northern California producing a Blanc de Blancs and a Brut Rosé from fruit grown in heritage vineyards using the labor-intensive “Méthode Traditionnelle,” perfected in Champagne. SEPPI released its first vintage, 2017, in 2020. 

SEPPI Craft Wines are high-touch by design: while most large sparkling wine houses blend between years, all SEPPI wines are vintage-dated. Accordingly, each bottle of SEPPI represents a unique snapshot of the time and place in which it was produced.
