THE WINERY  Pago Finca Élez is located in El Bonillo, at the foot of the Sierra de Alcaraz. The estate has 38.7 hectares of vineyards distributed among 4 plots located in the vicinity of the winery and cultivated at an altitude of around 1000 metres above sea level. -

HEIGHT: among the highest in Spain, being planted at an altitude of around 1000 metres above sea level. -

VINO DE PAGO, is a protected Denomination of Origin, - The term "Vino de Pago" is the most unique category of a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) in Spain. A Pago is a place with a special soil composition and climate, which clearly differs from other areas in its surroundings.Finca Élez was the first Pago out of 24 in total.

ECO: Long tradition cultivating vineyards and producing organic wines since 2014.according to European  Union Standards, though.

VINOS DE FINCA: Wines exclusively from our 38.7 hectares of vineyards and produced in our own winery. - SOILS: Developed from very fragmented dolomitic limestone bedrock. Shallow, poor and well-drained soils.

CLIMATE: Extreme microclimate: marked by altitude, not exempt from climatic risks, but very favourable for growing quality grapes.

TEAM: Javier García Alonso, Carlos Sánchez Sánchez and Miguel Ángel Benito Novillo, an expert team of oenologists, with a long history of winemaking in the most exclusive terroirs in other regions.
