Jodi Sundermeier

Director of Shindigs and Sommelier at The Bottleshop Redwood City

Jodi grew up in Arkansas and after college eventually found her dream job as a hotel concierge in Chicago, where she naturally gravitated to wine and food. She earned the distinction of being a Les Clefs d'Or Concierge and passed her Intro Sommelier Course with the Court of Master Sommeliers, after which she moved west to become the Chef Concierge at the Rosewood Sandhill hotel in Menlo Park where she, like so many others, lost her job during the pandemic. Drawn to continue her wine studies, she was awarded a scholarship for Certified Specialist of Wine from San Francisco Wine School and during this course, she passed her Certified Sommelier Exam with the Court of Master Sommeliers. She now works at Thomas Fogarty Winery and is a sommelier and Director of Shindigs for The BottleShop Wine Bar | Kitchen | Retail in Redwood City.
